Featuring an antique pot that is adorned with the iconic cartoon character Felix the Cat, the ‘BLACK CAT’ originally symbolised luck, good health, prosperity and protection. Like all of Jaca’s work, this artwork combines ancient forms with contemporary motifs influenced by his background as a tattoo artist, his love for chopper bikes and skate culture. Each of the 50 screen prints is hand embellished with acrylic paint, oil stick and airbrush details by the artist, ensuring each piece is distinct.
