ONE OFF ANY is thrilled to present 'BOXERS,' an interactive painting series created in collaboration with Anastasia Bay, a French artist based in Brussels. Bay's contemporary take on the boxer archetype, a recurring motif in her art, has been transformed into movable characters in a 3D boxing ring. The hand-operated mechanism controlling the boxers' movement allows the viewer to engage with the dynamic nature of the artwork.
Anastasia Bay, born in 1988, is a graduate of the esteemed Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, having studied under François Boisrond. She recently exhibited at Venus over Manhattan (New York, 2023), Galerie Derouillon (Paris, 2022), Anna Zorina Gallery (New York, 2022), Sorry We’re Closed (Brussels, 2020), and Spurs Gallery (Beijing, 2020), among others.
